ARKA TRAVEL AGENCY

After their studies in tourism, management experience in other agencies and working in the hotel sector, Goran and Marija Andonovska established the ARKA TRAVEL AGENCY in 2005.

In the meanwhile, ARKA has two offices – one in Skopje with a staff of four and one in Ohrid with two employees who also coordinate guest relations locally. Additionally, the agency also runs a student hostel in Ohrid with 36 rooms and a restaurant seating 200 persons which is used by all agencies.

The agency’s main business is foreign travel. This ranges from selling airline tickets and our own holiday packages to Greece, Montenegro and Serbia to offering packages from other agencies e.g. to Bulgaria.

ARKA works closely with agencies from the neighbouring countries, and is responsible for Macedonia for round trips encompassing several countries.

Tours of Macedonia commenced in 2005 and ARKA has built up an excellent reputation for school and student trips. Serbia is the largest source market for Ohrid, Macedonia’s most important destination. We at ARKA are now geared towards catering for West European tourists thanks to our long experience, insider knowledge and good networks. We are your professional partner for Macedonia and can provide you with accommodation combined with excursions and tickets to numerous events such as the Ohrid Summer Festival.
