The pleasant Mediterranean climate, sun-kissed beaches and wonderful scenery characterise the Albanian coast which is perfect for a relaxing holiday.

The coastline is over 450 kilometres long and takes in the Adriatic and Ionic coasts. The Adriatic side has long sandy beaches and shallow waters while the Ionic area is characterised by wild, rugged mountains and can only be described as magnificent. The beaches here are rocky and the waters deep.

Tour 1 (7 days): Tirana – Vlora – Saranda – Tirana

The tour begins with a half day sightseeing tour of the capital Tirana where we will stop at the National Museum and Skanderbeg Square. In Vlora you can choose between sandy or rocky beaches. Albania’s second largest port is located here.

We will then drive along the coast over llora pass to Dhermi with its famous sandy beach. Saranda is one of Albania’s most beautiful spots, known as The Pearl of Albania. The wonderful scenery and luscious vegetation along the route are simply fascinating. We will spend a few days in Saranda where we will also visit the Ksamil peninsula with its three magical offshore islands.

The ancient city of Butrint is famous for its important archaeological finds such as the Asklepios Temple, the Baptisterium, the Nymphaeum, the theatre and the legendary Lion’s Gate. Butrint is listed as a UNESCO world heritage site.
