In today’s fast-paced world we spend so much time stuck in traffic jams, on the phone or in the Internet ... But sometimes we simply have to wind down. But where can we find a place to switch off and relax? Have you ever visited the ‘Black Mountains’ or a country called Montenegro? That’s where you’ll find what you’re looking for!

The little town of Bijelo Polje (‘White Field’) lies in the north of Montenegro, hidden in the mountains and surrounded by numerous rivers. It is famous for its people’s warm hospitality. If you’d like to experience unspoilt nature and find out why Montenegro is known as the ‘Wild Beauty’, then you’re at the right place! Here you can enjoy shade from the hot, dry summer days in picturesque little villages where you can breathe in fresh, clean air and relish authentic local cuisine!

The journey to Bijelo Polje takes us through Podgorica, the capital of Montenegro and the Moraca ravine with its imposing monastery.

On the second day a short walking tour along Bistrica River will bring us to the Orthodox church of St. Nikola in Podvrh. From the Bistrica ravine, but also from many other stops on this tour, you will be able to enjoy breathtaking scenic views. The wonderful panorama views to be seen from the mountain peaks will leave you truly speechless!

During this tour you’ll have the chance to meet the local people and get a glimpse into their way of life. On our walks you will also see flowers and plants you’ve never seen before – particularly in the botanic gardens in Kolasin or in Biogradska Gora National Park.
